As part of the Smart Youth project, there are education sessions on the topic of smart tourism, where we will host experts from the private sector, public sector, and non-profit organizations. They will showcase their projects and activities, illustrating how they contribute to the implementation of IoT technologies and the creation of smart cities.
The project’s goal is to empower young people to become active and ‘smart’ citizens, encouraging more young individuals to participate in creating solutions in the field of smart technologies and digitization. These solutions aim to contribute to the development of local infrastructure and increase economic activity.
In April, two education sessions are scheduled:
1) “Technology is Essential to Tourism: Synergy of IoT, AI, and Tourism” on April 18th starting at 2:15 PM, led by Marko Romanjik, Team Lead, and Project Manager of the startup Go!ng places.
2) “Blending History and Technology: IT in the World of Tourism” on April 25th starting at 5:00 PM, led by Josip Drinovac, Co-founder of the startup PieLab and Project Manager at iMediaMatch and SportCC.

The education sessions are conducted online via the Zoom platform. All registered participants will receive links for the sessions the day before.
