The University of Split, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics, along with partner institutions – the University of Malaga (Spain), Hochschule der Medien (Germany), Impact Hub Stuttgart (Germany), Entrepreneurial Center Split, and Preneurz.Amsterdam (Netherlands), is undertaking a project titled ‘University Green Digital HUB.’ The main objectives of this project are to strengthen the digital, green, and entrepreneurial skills of students, university startups, and university staff, as well as to enhance the capacities of higher education institutions in teaching for digital and green transition.
Faced with the challenges of green and digital transition and accelerated changes in the labor market, the partners will work through the project to transform higher education institutions, improving their alignment with the economic environment and ensuring necessary education and skills for their users.
The ‘University Green Digital HUB’ project will involve various activities such as the development of training programs in the field of digital, green, and entrepreneurial skills, the development of a framework for digital and green transition based on the analysis of these skills, the implementation of pilot programs, and the development of support programs for startups in the field of green and digital innovations.
The main results to be achieved through the project include:
Development and implementation of an educational program for targeted groups in the field of digital, green, and entrepreneurial skills.
Development and implementation of the ‘DGE Knowledge Factory’ – a web platform for e-learning and knowledge exchange in the specified field.
Development and implementation of the ‘Greenpreneur’ startup program for university startups operating in the field of digital and green transformation.
It is essential to emphasize that students participating in these programs will have the opportunity to receive Europass digital credentials or a supplement to their diploma for the recognition of acquired knowledge and skills.
The project was officially launched with a transnational meeting of project partners held on October 27th and 28th in Split.
The ‘University Green Digital HUB’ project spans 24 months and is co-financed by funds from the Erasmus+ program, Key Action 2: Cooperation Partnerships (for higher education).”
