The Split Entrepreneurship Center together with the Student Entrepreneurship Incubator of the Faculty of Economics in Split, as part of the “Student digital HUB” project , prepared a new set of workshops and trainings for students and young people.
November brings us a new topic of the month – “Creating a quality resume and job application”. The series of workshops will be held by mr. sc. Maja Frapporti-Roglić , professor of psychology, who works at CISOK – Center for career information and counseling. For a number of years, he has been engaged in individual and group career counseling for students, the unemployed, primary and secondary school students and their parents, as well as employees who are considering a career change or career choice. He holds workshops on strategies for making career decisions, assessing one’s own potential, social skills important for success in the world of work, communication skills, self-motivation, etc.
We are waiting for 4 educations, namely:
- 8.11.2021. starting at 1:00 p.m., “Creating a quality resume” | At the workshop held by M.Sc. sc. Maja Frapporti – Roglić, professor of psychology and senior adviser at the Career Information and Counseling Center, find out how to make yours stand out in the sea of resumes that arrive on the employer’s desk. The resume is your “business identity card”, on the basis of which the employer begins to build his impression of you as a candidate for the position. That’s why you need to know how to write it well!
- 9.11.2021. starting at 1:00 p.m., “How to write a good job application and motivation letter” | What should and should not be included in the content of a quality job application, and what is it actually for? What is the difference between an application and a cover letter? What mistakes should be avoided and what are the “golden rules” of writing a letter or request? Find out at the workshop, which will be held by the career counseling expert mr. sc. Maja Frapporti – Roglić, professor of psychology.
- 10.11.2021. starting at 1:00 p.m., “What individual potentials make a quality job candidate?” | What kind of future employees are employers looking for? Which of these qualities do you have, and which would be good to work on? Find out at the workshop. You will have the opportunity to become aware of what you expect from your future workplace and in which jobs you would realize your full potential, and go home satisfied at the end of the working day.
- 11.11.2021. starting at 1:00 p.m., “Preparation for an interview in the employment process” | Find out what the interview process looks like and what can “happen” to you at a job interview at our workshop, which will be held by mr. sc. Maja Frapporti – Roglić, professor of psychology and senior advisor at the Career Information and Counseling Center, who through her workshops and individual work helped numerous former job seekers who are now happily employed. Prepare well at this workshop and shine at your next job interview!
All trainings are held online via the Zoom platform.
All participants who complete all training in this area will receive a certificate of participation in the form of a digitally signed credential in accordance with the EU Action Plan for Digital Education (2021-2027).
