The Entrepreneurship Center Split, in collaboration with the Student Entrepreneurship Incubator of the Faculty of Economics in Split, is organizing the fifth edition of the social hackathon Hack4Split. The competition will take place on April 9th and 10th, 2022, in a coworking space in Split. Partners in the organization include Ensoco, Split Tech City, and Digital Nomad Association Croatia.
Hack4Split is a two-day hackathon focused on solving social problems and developing social innovations. It brings together individuals with specific knowledge, regardless of their education and profession, who find solutions to problems in their local community in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The competition aims to encourage young people to become active members of their community, familiarize themselves with the needs and problems in their community and environment, and engage in their resolution.
If you have an idea that would improve life in the community but lack a team or platform to present your idea, or if you want to get involved in solving some of the pressing issues in your local community, familiarize yourself with various UN Sustainable Development Goals, and apply for Hack4Split. Applications can be submitted through the link https://forms.gle/Mie1U38xxMbycaZi7, and they are open until March 26, 2022. For all interested individuals who want more information before applying, two Info Hour events will be organized online via Zoom on March 14th and 21st, starting at 5:00 PM.
Hackathon Hack4Split is carried out as part of a project funded by the European Solidarity Corps and the Central State Office for Demography and Youth.
