The Student Business Incubator (SPI) at the Faculty of Economics, University of Split, is gearing up to launch the ninth generation of the Student Business Academy through the new Greenpreneur program in collaboration with the University Green Digital HUB.
The Student Business Academy will take place from March 8th to May 24th, 2024. This year, it will be simultaneously conducted at universities in Stuttgart, Germany, and Malaga, Spain. It will provide student startups with the experience of working in an international environment with the support of both local and foreign mentors.
Registrations for the program are now open. Organizers encourage all interested parties to apply via the link by March 1st to secure their spot.
The Student Business Academy is open to all interested individuals who want to develop their entrepreneurial skills, have entrepreneurial ideas, or are just considering starting their own business venture. The program consists of a series of workshops and mentoring sessions covering a wide range of topics, including idea generation and validation, market research, financial planning, sustainability-related issues, innovation, collaboration, and many others.
The uniqueness of this program lies in its hybrid approach, which allows students from three different universities to participate. Some lectures will be held in person, while the other half will be available through online platforms, ensuring accessibility and interactivity for all participants. The best startup teams from Croatia, Germany, and Spain will also have the opportunity to present their innovative solutions at a joint pitch competition in front of selected investors and accelerators.
This year, the program is environmentally oriented, prioritizing green, sustainable, and digital solutions,” explain the organizers.
The project ‘University Green Digital HUB’ lasts for 24 months and is co-financed by funds from the Erasmus+ program, Key Action 2: Cooperation Partnerships (for higher education).
