Are you passionate about the ocean but concerned about its current state? Do you possess digital, graphic, business, legal, scientific, laboratory, or other useful skills that can contribute to solving pressing issues related to our seas, oceans, and coastal areas?

The challenges cover various areas:

1. Advanced anchoring in marinas
2. Development of filters for treating wastewater
3. Application for identifying species of marine organisms
4. Removal of plastic waste in the sea
5. Optimal positioning of oceanographic instruments
6. Monitoring and reduction of heavy metal concentrations in shellfish farms
7. Communication and management of underwater devices
8. Automatic collection of oceanographic data

Challenge owners are looking for motivated and enthusiastic members who are willing to try something new and offer a solution to important questions related to the sea and coastal areas within 48 hours. If you are undecided, you can apply for multiple challenges. In the application form, you will enter the skills and knowledge you possess, and then, during the competition, we will assign you to the most suitable team based on your preferences and skills.

This year’s competition will take place from October 9th to 11th in 19 cities around the world simultaneously, and the winners from each city will win a paid trip and have all expenses covered for the final competition in Brest, which will be held at the end of this year.
