As part of the Global Seminar organized by Penn State University on the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the winning teams of the Innovation Challenge competition, in which students from the University of Split also participated, were announced.

Teams of 6 students, two from Penn State University , two from the University of Split and two from Middlesex University , formed teams whose task was to define a problem or need and propose a solution in one of 4 key areas: Green Technology; Social Entrepreneurship; In-the-home or Transportation.
Each team had 4 weeks to accomplish the following:
1) Met their international colleagues, i.e. team members
2) Made an overview of the four Innovation Challenge categories and defined the problem or need that the team wants to work on in one of the given key areas
3) Developed the solution concept and checked/confirmed it as much as possible within the allotted time
4) Made a final presentation in the form of a 3-minute video
Prizes were awarded to the students of the best teams by their universities as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week on November 17, 2015.
