The Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) has opened a public call for submission of project applications for co-financing of research and development projects for entrepreneurs through the Proof of Concept Program.

The aim of the Program is to support innovations in the early stages of research in order to provide pre-commercial capital for technical and commercial verification of innovative concepts and to strengthen the capacity and capabilities of the private sector for research, development and innovation.

The program is designed to provide entrepreneurs with the opportunity to check whether their research result, newly designed process or technology can be realized and whether it has potential commercial application. It is intended for the co-financing of acceptable pre-commercial activities of innovative scientific-entrepreneurial projects that are in the initial phase of development of new products, services and technological processes.

Eligible projects will be co-financed in the amount of a minimum of HRK 100,000 to a maximum of HRK 500,000 and for a duration of up to 12 months. The deadline for the delivery of the project registration is 2. September 2019. at 23:59:59 hours.

In order to familiarize interested applicants with the competition and provide all the necessary information about the application process, the Office for Projects and Technology Transfer of the University of Split , one of the Recognized Centers of the PoC program, is organizing an informative workshop where points will be clarified:

• How to write a project?
• The most common mistakes of competitors (users)

The workshop will be held in Thursday 30 May at 12 o’clock in the multifunctional hall of the University Library (Ruđera Boškovića 31, north building, 2nd floor) for 1 hour.
