Another successful edition of the Hack4Split social hackathon is behind us, aiming to find and implement socially beneficial solutions for the well-being and progress of our local community, using the advantages of modern technology! On Saturday and Sunday, April 9th and 10th, organized by the Entrepreneurship Center Split and the Student Entrepreneurship Incubator, together with partners, this year’s Hack4Split hackathon was held at the SPINIT incubator, bringing together 10 teams with 45 participants who, in a cheerful and proactive atmosphere, worked on various social issues.

Creative awards were also distributed for the best solutions. The “Ask a Student” team, mostly still in high school, received a special award for their effort and proactivity, as an incentive in the form of additional education and training in the business and IT field. The “HealthPlus” team showed the most progress and dedication over the two days of the hackathon and was awarded in the “most productive team” category. The “Nerthus” team won the award for the “best design team” category.
Afterward, the announcement of the top 3 projects developed during the hackathon followed:
First place was shared by the “Evala” and “Fish4All” teams.
Second place went to the “PY-BO” team.

In addition to the working and competitive part of the hackathon, a workshop for participants on the topic “Is e-mail marketing dead?” was held, conducted by Martina Šepić, director of the company Webpower Adria.
