Entrepreneurship Center Split, in collaboration with the Student Entrepreneurship Incubator of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Split, is implementing the “Smart Youth” project with the aim of connecting young people in the higher education system through the development of digital skills and skills in the field of smart technologies. These skills will enable them to be competitive in the job market and actively contribute to the development of their local community as a smart city.
The project’s goal is for young people to become active and “smart” citizens, encouraging their involvement in creating solutions in the field of smart technologies and digitalization that will contribute to the development of local infrastructure and increased economic activity. This will be achieved through educational activities in smart technologies and digitalization, where young people will acquire relevant skills. Additionally, they will participate in the Smart City Challenge hackathon, where they will devise smart solutions to enhance their local community. All these efforts aim to facilitate digital and green transition in the local community, aligning with the priorities of the European Union.
Participants in specific areas of activity will receive a Europass certificate of participation.
A detailed schedule of all education and activities will be available on the websites of the Entrepreneurship Center Split and the Student Entrepreneurship Incubator of the Faculty of Economics in Split.
The project is co-financed by the European Solidarity Corps of the European Union and is implemented from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023.
