Within the ActiveST project, in November, we continue with a series of education on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We will host various experts from the private sector, public sector, and non-profit organizations who will, through their projects and activities, showcase how they contribute, and how we all can contribute, to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals within the areas in which they operate and do business. The goal of the education series is to familiarize young people with ways in which, through entrepreneurship and social engagement, we can contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and encourage them to actively participate and contribute to solving local community problems.
In November, we have two educational sessions:
1) Within Goal 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, on November 15 at 9:00 AM, the education will be held by Livija Plančić, the president of the Bijeli krug Hrvatske association, on the topic “Justice for victims of violence is often slow and unattainable.”
2) Within Goal 17 – Partnership for the Goals, on November 14 at 10:00 AM, the education will be held by Joze Tomaš, the president of the Croatian Chamber of Economy – County Chamber Split, on the topic “The Role of Entrepreneurial Associations and Creating Efficient Public-Private Partnerships.”
The workshops take place online, via the Zoom platform. All registered participants will receive links to the educational sessions one day before they take place. You can register via the following link– https://forms.gle/
All participants who complete all workshops in this series will receive a Europass certificate of participation.
The education sessions are part of the ‘ActiveST’ project, co-financed by the Central State Office for Demography and Youth.
