In the scope of the ActivniST project, in June, we continue with a cycle of education on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We will host various experts from the private sector, public sector, and non-profit organizations who will present, based on their projects and activities, how they contribute and how we can all contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals within their areas of operation. The aim of the education cycle is to introduce young people to ways in which, through entrepreneurship and social engagement, they can contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and encourage them to actively engage in citizenship and contribute to solving local community issues.
In June, three educations are planned:
1) Within Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-being, on June 9th, starting at 4:00 PM, Tihana Petričević from Silver Technologies, a startup in the healthcare sector, will conduct an education on “Wearable Technologies in Healthcare – Silver Monitor Case Study.”
2) Within Goal 4 – Quality Education, on June 7th, starting at 4:00 PM, Dr. Ana Skledar Matijević from the Institute for the Development of Education will conduct an education on “Public Policies in Higher Education.”
