Hack4Split is a hackathon aimed at finding and implementing socially beneficial solutions for the well-being and progress of our local community. The two-day competition (hackathon) is focused on solving social problems defined by civil society organizations (participants) and devising social innovations. H4S connects individuals with specific knowledge on one side and community organizations with defined needs on the other.
This year, we are organizing a special online edition due to the restrictions related to Covid-19. The hackathon will take place on the Microsoft Teams platform, and you can find the updated program HERE.
Who can participate?
Anyone who believes they can contribute to the solutions of the hackathon tasks can participate. The tasks are set in accordance with the needs of the participating associations.
When and where?
The competition will be held on May 2nd and 3rd, 2020, on the Microsoft Teams platform.

Hack4Split involves civil society organizations, i.e., associations, and tackles specific problems faced by their beneficiaries. In addition to pre-defined tasks by NGOs, participants can also submit their own idea/project for the hackathon. The only condition is that it involves a socially beneficial solution to improve the quality of life in the community.
The NGOs participating in Hack4Split work daily to address various problems faced by their beneficiaries and users. Among them are, for example, parents of children with developmental difficulties, advocates for nature conservation, physically disabled individuals, the blind, and others.
