As part of the Smart Youth project in August, we are organizing educational sessions on smart cities and the application of IoT technologies. We will host various experts from the private sector, public sector, and non-profit organizations who will showcase how they contribute to the implementation of IoT technologies and the creation of smart cities through their projects and activities. The project’s goal is to empower young people to become active and “smart” citizens, encouraging their involvement in creating solutions in the field of smart technologies and digitalization that will contribute to the development of local infrastructure and increased economic activity.
In August, two educational sessions are scheduled:
1) Next step for future smart cities – Nextbike, on August 23, starting at 11:00 AM. The session will be conducted by Lea Babić, a representative of Nextbike.
2) IoT – Introduction to the Internet of Things, on August 24, starting at 2:00 PM. The session will be conducted by Petar Šolić, Vice Dean for Business at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture.
