As part of the ActiveST project, in September, we continue with a cycle of education on UN Sustainable Development Goals. We will host various experts from the private sector, public sector, and non-profit organizations who will showcase, through their projects and activities, how they contribute and how we can all contribute to the achievement of UN Sustainable Development Goals within their respective fields. The goal of the education cycle is to introduce young people to ways in which we can contribute to the achievement of UN goals through entrepreneurship and social engagement, encouraging them to be active citizens and contribute to solving local community problems.
In September, three educational sessions are scheduled:
1) Within Goal 10 – Reduced Inequalities, on September 23rd, starting at 10:00 AM, Marin Urlić from CEDRA Split will conduct a session on “Contribution to reducing inequalities through the implementation of an EU project.”
2) Within Goal 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities, on September 27th at 1:00 PM, Danijela Matejčić Miletić, the head of user development and education at Čistoća Rijeka, will present on “Riperaj for creating a sustainable and solidarity society.”
