As part of the Smart Youth project, in February, we continue with a series of IoT technology education sessions on the theme of smart health. We will host various experts from the private sector, public sector, and non-profit organizations who will showcase the applications of IoT technologies in business through examples from their projects.
The project’s goal is to empower young people to become active and ‘smart’ citizens, encouraging more young individuals to participate in creating solutions in the field of smart technologies and digitization. These solutions aim to contribute to the development of local infrastructure and increase economic activity, as well as to foster the development of digital skills and skills in the field of smart technologies.
In February, two education sessions are scheduled:
1. “Virtual Assistance for Chronic Patients with IoT”
– The education session will be conducted by Petra Bartulović, Product Manager at the startup MEGI Health,
– The session will take place on February 17, 2023, at 1:00 PM.
2. “Challenges in Croatian Healthcare and Opportunities for Applying New Technologies”
– The education session will be conducted by Alen Pecirep, Director of the company Doct,
– The session will take place on February 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM.
3. “Application of Mathematical Modeling in Disease Diagnosis and Prevention”
– The education session will be conducted by Ena Melvan, founder and CEO of the company MetaBelly,
– The session will take place on February 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM.
The lectures are held online via the Zoom platform. All registered participants will receive links for the sessions the day before. Applications can be submitted HERE.
All participants who complete all the workshops in this cycle will receive a Europass certificate of participation.
The project is co-financed by the European Solidarity Corps of the European Union and is implemented from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023.
