“Global Entrepreneurship Week Split” is held from 8 until 14 November, for the sixth year in a row, organized by the Student Entrepreneurial Incubator of the Faculty of Economics in Split and the Entrepreneurial Center Split. “Global Entrepreneurship Week” is an event that takes place once a year around the world and serves to celebrate entrepreneurship, innovation and job creators who launch startups and implement ideas into reality, promote economic growth and the broader well-being of their communities. During one week in November each year, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities to explore their potential as entrepreneurs and innovators.
At a global level, through various activities, from large competitions and events to networking, GEW encourages participants to explore their potential as entrepreneurs and innovators and connects them with potential collaborators, mentors and potential investors, introducing them to new possibilities and opportunities. GEW is therefore more than an awareness campaign for entrepreneurship; it’s a platform to connect and collaborate – engaging all players along the entrepreneurial spectrum in strengthening ecosystems around the world.
During the event, several educations await us, and special emphasis is placed on youth employment processes and the presentation of the Student Entrepreneurship Incubator program to all interested proactive young people and the European Solidarity Forces program, based on the example of the Student Digital Hub project, which throughout 2021. year are spent by these two institutions.
