1. Lecture “How to remain a motivated person and entrepreneur?” – Ivona Šimunović, HR consultant from Zagreb.
If you expect perfection on the way to your goal, you’ve already focused on the wrong things. All challenges are difficult, starting a business or maintaining an existing one is not easy because it tests your determination and strength. On the way to some challenge will show your weaknesses. You have to understand that you will make mistakes at least once. That mistake can only be momentary, but a big step forward.
Celebrate small steps! One of the most important things you have to do on the way to achieving any goal is to track and look forward to your progress, no matter how small. You have set yourself a clear goal and you know roughly what you have to do, but you only pay attention to the big steps.
2. Lecture “I went bankrupt” – Zlatko Rabik from Slatina
Zlatko Rabik was born in 1962. Mr. in Vinkovci and graduated from the Faculty of Technology in Zagreb. Since 2002 until 2006 Mr. he taught professional subjects at Marko Marulić Secondary School in Slatina. He is a teacher of vocational subjects at the Virovitica Vocational School.
He held a series of workshops and lectures on marketing and entrepreneurship for young people and entrepreneurs. He was the president of the Croatian Association of Tanners and Shoemakers for many years and the president of the Supervisory Board of this association.
He is a member of the Agency for Vocational Education for Tanners, Shoemakers and Gallants

He will talk about how to apply what he learned in theory in practice and to more easily access the labor market, how to be and remain creative and persistent, and to have self-confidence. He will show by his own example that even after a fall in business, we can rise a step higher. After losing the factory, he did not give up, but continued with his work.
3. Lecture “Orderly, successful and humane business” – Goran Milić
Cult travel journalist and former editor of HRT Dnevnik, Goran Milić, currently works in Sarajevo as Al Jazeera Balkans news and program director. To list everything that Milić did in his life is an impossible mission, it is much more important to listen to what he wants to convey to us from his rich life and business experience.
He is a man who will tell you a series of information, a series of interesting stories, a series of experiences of others similar to us, yet so different, all wrapped in a casual review with a touch of humor. He could have achieved much more, but he needed a good manager.
“Where is there an orderly, successful and humane business that we would agree to? There is in Switzerland, but there rich parents don’t buy Ferraris for their children like ours do. They don’t have weddings with 500 guests. Christenings and birthdays don’t cost them 5 – 10,000 euros. In Switzerland, politicians have average or lower average salaries. The entire government has two cars. Would Croats, i.e. Croatian politicians, agree to that? There is an orderly, successful and humane business in Norway, but coffee is HRK 50, a mug of beer – 70, and those who drink alcohol do so only on Fridays or Saturdays. A business dinner or lunch in a good restaurant – few people have experienced that in Norway!”, explains Milić.
Is it possible to succeed in our country with work, a normal approach, knowledge, seriousness and honesty? How do small entrepreneurs function in the world, do they have the support of the local government, do they work for them or vice versa? What should we do to become successful entrepreneurs? These questions will be answered by a man who has traveled all over the world!
The moderator of the program will be Assoc. Ph.D.Sc. Ivana Bilić from the Faculty of Economics.
After the lecture, you will have the opportunity to ask the lecturers anything that interests you and to share with them your thoughts on entrepreneurship.
