The Student Entrepreneurship Incubator (SPI) is organizing on Monday, March 7. guest lecture at the Faculty of Economics in Split Mr. Viktor Simončić with the theme - "Globalization and climate change as an incentive for the development of local business opportunities".
Viktor Simončič was born in Ljubljana in 1948. Mr. He received his doctorate in 1976. Mr. at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, University of Karlsruhe, Germany, and has been professionally engaged in environmental protection since the late seventies. In his professional career, he worked in various places, in research and teaching at several universities, in industry, he was assistant minister in the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Spatial Planning of the Republic of Croatia, acting director of the State Administration for Environmental Protection of the Republic of Croatia and advisor to the government in the Ministry of Space and Environment Republic of Slovenia. He worked or works as an adviser to various institutions and companies in many countries, among other things he also worked as an occasional adviser to the World Bank. He is involved in many projects financed by the European Commission. He works as an independent consultant (Vikos, Sisak) and is involved in many domestic and European projects. He has published several scientific and professional works, is the author and co-author of several books and publications. He is also active in the work of the non-governmental scene.
The lecture will be interactive, and in addition to the mentioned topic, we encourage all participants to actively participate in the discussion with their questions and on other important issues in the area in which Mr. Simončić has rich experience (environmental programs, issues of air quality management, water and waste management, sustainable development, etc.)
