Silicon Castles (SC) Split<\/strong> aims to discover the most promising startups in Split and other regions of the Western Balkans and lead them to global success. Split is an ideal place for developing technological innovations and starting a business, as it is home to a leading Croatian university with over 180 study programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Silicon Castles conducts its activities in Split in partnership with the Faculty of Economics in Split<\/strong> and its Student Business Incubator (SPI)<\/strong> .<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to identify and shape the ideas of people from different disciplines, experiences, ages and cultures, Silicon Castles believes in the methods of “Design Thinking”<\/strong> . Two-day workshops will be organized, led by experts, with an emphasis on the development of new ideas in the field of new technologies under the name – “Game of Diamonds”<\/strong> .<\/span><\/p>\n

Silicon Castles opens a public call for application to the program, the number of participants is limited to 50<\/strong> . You can register an idea from areas such as Deep Tech, eTourism, GreenTech, Blue Innovation, and others. Corporate partners (participants from companies) can propose certain topics of their own, depending on their business needs and interests.<\/span><\/p>\n

Targeted result<\/strong> : Creation of sustainable business models, including the formation of motivated and competent teams for starting a business. The best projects will be awarded free entry to the Global Acceleration Program (GAP)<\/strong> by Silicon Castles, where they will have the opportunity to develop their product within 6 months.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The goals of the workshop are the development of completely new, global ideas that meet the needs of the region, the creation of new high-quality jobs through startups and increasing the attractiveness of the city of Split as a place to live, work and visit.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Who can apply?<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Talents<\/span> – individuals from universities or innovative companies who are passionate about innovation, very interested in development within specific areas and want to contribute their unique skills to one of the startups.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Entrepreneurs<\/span> – for entrepreneurs with seed ideas who want to find a team and creative environment to build prototypes and go-to-market strategies for their product\/service.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Startup<\/span> i – for startups with an existing MVP or business model prototype that are innovative, digital and\/or scalable, focusing on specific areas.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
