As part of the Global Seminar organized by Penn State University on the occasion of Global Entrepreneurship Week,<\/strong> the winning teams of the Innovation Challenge competition, in which students from the University of Split also participated, were announced.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teams of 6 students, two from Penn State University<\/strong> , two from the University of Split<\/strong> and two from Middlesex University<\/strong> , formed teams whose task was to define a problem or need and propose a solution in one of 4 key areas: Green Technology; Social Entrepreneurship; In-the-home or Transportation.<\/span><\/div>\n

Each team had 4 weeks to accomplish the following:<\/span><\/div>\n
1) Met their international colleagues, i.e. team members<\/span><\/div>\n
2) Made an overview of the four Innovation Challenge categories and defined the problem or need that the team wants to work on in one of the given key areas<\/span><\/div>\n
3) Developed the solution concept and checked\/confirmed it as much as possible within the allotted time<\/span><\/div>\n
4) Made a final presentation in the form of a 3-minute video<\/span><\/div>\n

Prizes were awarded to the students of the best teams by their universities as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week on November 17, 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n
